摘要: We derive a set of asymptotically exact coupled amplitude-streaming flow ({CASF}) equations governing the evolution weakly nonlinear nearly inviscid multimode Faraday waves and associated streaming in finite geometries. The is found to play particularly important role near mode interactions. Such interactions come about either through suitable choice parameters or breaking degeneracy among modes related by symmetry. An example first case provided interaction two nonaxisymmetric circular container with different azimuthal wavenumbers. second arises when shape changed from square slightly rectangular, noncircular but plane generation each these cases discussed detail properties resulting CASF are described. A preliminary analysis suggests that can resolve discrepancies between existing theory experimental results above cases.
