摘要: The concept of guided tissue regeneration (GTR) in endodontic surgery is derived from periodontal regenerative therapy for disease. Periapical will occur predictably after if intra- and extraradicular infections are controlled by adequate root-end resection complete retrograde seal the root canal. Indications GTR technique limited should be clearly recognized to prevent misuse. They include: combined endodontic-periodontic lesions, through-and-through bone large periapical lesions almost involving alveolar crest bone. materials, such as barrier membranes grafts used biocompatible approved FDA. Possible pre-surgical, intra-surgical, post-surgical complications must prevented avoid failures. could improve wound healing through-and through possibly cases with lesions.
