摘要: We have studied the precipitation of short DNA molecules by polycations spermidine, spermine, and cobalthexamine. The addition these cations to a solution leads first DNA; further resolubilizes pellet. multivalent salt concentration required for resolubilization is essentially independent (between 1 microM/ml mg/ml) monovalent cation present in (up 100 mM). aggregates are anisotropic; those obtained presence polyamines spermidine spermine generally contain cholesteric liquid crystalline phase that flows spontaneously. In contrast this never seen propose ability condense fluid structures an essential feature their biological functions.
