摘要: Marked potentiation of the pressor effects tyramine hydrochloride, given orally and intravenously, was demonstrated in patients receiving a monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor. Assays content various foods revealed up to 25μg/ml wine 1.4 mg/gm some cheeses. As little as 20 gm cheese produced responses which were controllable with phentolamine methane-sulfonate MAO-inhibited patients. These findings extend previous work on mechanism toxicity emphasize one hazards treatment MAO inhibitors.
