摘要: Introduction The colon and rectum are common sites of food-related cancer in developed countries. Recent studies strongly suggest that red meat intake is associated with cancer, whereas for rectal such an association still needs to be proved. aim the study was assess role total amount frequency colorectal carcinogenesis based on published data using meta-analysis methods. Material methods literature until 2009 selected from: MEDLINE, PubMed, Scopus, Embase, CancerLit, Google Scholar Cochrane Library databases. used search terms were: intake, consumption, risk, risk lifestyle. Articles investigating more often than once a day or 50 g per were reviewed further analysis. Results Twenty-two fulfilled established criteria. A confirmed carcinogenic effect consumption over (relative 1.21, 1.07-1.37) but not 1.30, 0.90-1.89). Red frequently can induce both colonic 1.37, 1.09-1.71) 1.43, 1.24-1.64). Conclusions elevated developing cancer. rather consumed higher carcinogenesis.
