摘要: Older adults experience hallucinations in a variety of social, physical, and mental health contexts. Not everyone is open about these experiences, as are surrounded with stigma. Hence, hallucinatory experiences older individuals often under-recognized. They also commonly misunderstood by service providers, suggesting that there significant scope for improvement the training practice professionals working this age group. The aim present article to increase knowledge provide practical resource aged-care workforce. Specifically, we concise narrative review critique (1) workforce competency issues, (2) assessment tools, (3) current treatments management guidelines. We conclude brief summary including suggestions providers future research.
