摘要: In the house mouse (Mus musculus), fetuses may develop in utero next to siblings of same or opposite sex. The amniotic fluid female contains higher concentrations estradiol than that male fetuses. Male developed between had their males were located other during intrauterine development. They also more sexually active as adults, less aggressive, and smaller seminal vesicles utero. These findings raise possibility fetal life circulating estrogens interact with androgens both regulating development sex differences females producing variation phenotype among females.
