Autonomic dysreflexia and nursing interventions for patients with spinal cord injury

摘要: This retrospective study, performed in 2009, aimed to identify nursing diagnoses and interventions for the care of patients with spinal cord injury. Data were collected from records 465 SCI undergoing rehabilitation. The diagnosis Risk autonomic dysreflexia was identified 271 clinical (58, 3%). Approximately 80 developed dysreflexia, a predominance young men around 35.7 years old, who had experienced trauma as main cause Their neurological injury level at sixth thoracic vertebra or above. Nursing arranged two groups, one focused on prevention other treatment. An intervention guide can be used by nurses their practice rehabilitation included into information systems. removal stimulus which causes most effective therapy best intervention.
