摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the electron spin resonance study of bituminous substances and asphaltenes. Electron (ESR), or paramagnetic (EPR) is an attractive technique used in identifying studying species, which contain odd number electrons. The restricts discussion to ESR signals pertaining free radicals only. radical are interfered by, overlapping with, features unpaired from metal ions. Computations based on first principle have been made assess net amount vanadium contribution and/or separate signals. a unique tool for product characterization structure elucidation. It should be brought attention scientists engineers whose interests lie analysis coal related materials. Although excellent general review articles as analytical available, only few papers written at present time there no book this subject.
