摘要: Mental practice (MP) through motor imagery is a cognitive training strategy used to improve locomotor skills during rehabilitation programs. Recent works have MP tasks investigate the neurophysiology of human gait; however, its effect on functional performance has not been evaluated. In present study, influence gait-oriented process gait in transtibial amputees was investigated by assessing vertical (V), anterior-posterior (AP), and medio-lateral (ML) ground reaction forces (GRFs) time duration support phase prosthetic limb. Unilateral amputees, who were capable performing imagination (MIQ-RS score ≥4), randomly divided into two groups: Group A (n = 10), performed combined with training, B (n = 5), non-motor task MP. The intervention first-person perspective for 40 min, 3 times/week, 4 weeks. GRF outcome measures recorded force platform evaluate 4 distinct stages: at baseline (BL), 1 month before session; Pre-MP, 1–3 days Post-MP, after follow-up (FU), session. variables compared inter- intra-group applying Mann-Whitney Friedman tests (alpha = 0.05). All volunteers exhibited homogenous pattern prior intervention, no improvement BL Pre-MP stages. Only showed significant improvements enhanced impact absorption, as indicated decreased first V AP peaks; propulsion capacity, increasing second balance control limb, decreasing ML peaks support. This persisted until FU stage. allowed reestablish independent locomotion. Since effects preserved 1 month, considered related specificity tasks. Therefore, may clinical aspect when included program.
