摘要: IQL (Interactive Query Language) provides interactive formulation and optimization of relational queries. It has been implemented as a part an integrated environment for the design databases using Graphtalk™, object-oriented Graphs Base Management System Rank Xerox. IQL’s Interface supports fast easy full SQL queries update transactions by novel representation query concepts. A is graph made up set tree-like expressions (clauses, predicates, arithmetic boolean expressions) specified at different graphical levels on subsets relations database schema. The power flexibility graphs derive from independent meta-modeling implied formalisms, so complex may be expressed graphically in their entirety. Querying performances are improved several ways: 1) syntax consistency issues permanently verified during formulation, 2) users dispose variety abstraction mechanisms like denomination (or use parameters, thus permitting modular generic reusability, even schema, 3) subclass applied to generate compiled versions lower cost equivalent relation given operational context (i.e., access data schemata).
