摘要: Abstract We have determined the nucleotide sequence of 6868 bp full-size retrotransposon termed ‘Tv1’. Tv1 was isolated from DNA fraction extracellular virus-like particles Drosophila virilis culture cells. has typical structure for a gypsy-group retrotransposon. The element found to be flanked by 453 bp long terminal direct repeats identical each other. central part contains three open reading frames which resemble gag, pol and env genes retroviruses. ORF2 includes conservative motifs protease, reverse transcriptase, RNase H integrase in order characteristic retrotransposons. Although most copies are located pericentromeric heterochromatin, amplification this family demonstrated cell site polymorphism observed different strains suggest functional activity element.
