摘要: Abstract The effect of brake oil on sliding behavior carbon/carbon (C/C) and carbon/carbon−silicon carbide (C/C−SiC) composites was investigated with the variation laminate orientation surface conformity. partial low conformity contacts normal parallel orientations laminates were considered. load varied from 50 to 90 N in a step 10 N. friction wear under reciprocating conditions. results showed that coefficient loss larger as compared those laminates. C/C yielded highest value coefficient. Wear decreased by maximum 78%, 49% contacts. presence reduced adhesion tendency compacted debris because formation film difficult, thus, affected. retention between contact surfaces due confined area motion depicted tribological behavior.
