摘要: Objectives Few neurophysiological studies have investigated cerebellar function in patients with essential tremor, even though the cerebellum may contribute to tremor generation. Here, we studied using 2 physiological methods. Methods Participants were 20 and 30 age-matched healthy volunteers, results compared across groups. We motor cortical inhibition magnetic stimulation prism adaptation. Results Both adaptation affected tremor. The degree of did not correlate abnormality either experiments. Conclusions The simplest explanation for present is that itself, including Purkinje cells, involved which reflect a primary pathogenic lesion or secondary compensatory phenomenon an original elsewhere. © 2016 International Parkinson Movement Disorder Society
