摘要: Mononuclear cells produce lymphokines and monokines, the function of which is to initiate mobilization, proliferation differentiation additional mononuclear in an inflammatory site. In addition, these biologically active mediators modulate functions certain non-inflammatory cell targets. Lymphokines monokines can stimulate chemotaxis, division, matrix synthesis by connective tissue fibroblasts. Additional cell-derived inhibit or suppress fibroblast functions, implicating host immune system regulation metabolism associated with response. Altering balance production and/or release tissue-active agents could result excess growth (fibrosis) its pathological manifestations.
