摘要: Abstract Background The vestibular system is involved in the control of standing balance. Galvanic stimulation (GVS) a noninvasive technique that can stimulate system. In recent years, noisy GVS (nGVS) using noise current has been attempted, but it not clarified whether affects postural sway open-eye standing. Objective purpose this study was to clarify influence nGVS on center pressure (COP) measurement and identify responders nGVS. Methods (0.1–640 Hz) delivered at 0.4 1.0 mA over bipolar mastoid. COP root mean square area, path length, medio-lateral (ML) velocity, antero-posterior (AP) velocity before during an posture measured. Results significantly reduced velocity. effect also large subjects with long path. For high Baseline, effective even for short duration (5 s). Conclusions These findings suggest improves among young subjects.
