摘要: Abstract Objectives To examine the potential relationship between sleep duration and efficiency injury incidence in elite Australian footballers. Design Prospective cohort study. Methods footballers ( n =22) from one AFL club were studied across 2013 competitive season. In each week recorded via actigraphy for 5 nights (the 3 preceding a game, night of game after game). Injury was monitored matched with data: =9 players suffered an that caused them to miss game. Sleep (T2) compared average previous 2 weeks (T1). A two-way repeated measures ANOVA used determine any effect on injury. Significance accepted at p Results not significantly affected by duration, or combination these factors. Analysis individual T2 versus T1 also showed no differences quality efficiency. However, main time found efficiency, being slightly, but greater Conclusions No significant occurrence
