摘要: The wave speed in an anisotropic plate is dependent on the direction of propagation and therefore conventional triangulation technique does not work for prediction impact point. A method based optimization was proposed by Kundu et al. to detect point plate. They defined objective function that uses time flight information ultrasonic signals passive transducers attached (θ) from receiving sensors. This very sensitive to the arrival times. small variation any one results a significant change prediction. This shortcoming overcome here modifying following new algorithm. Both old and new functions (denoted as 1 2) are used algorithm different sets of identifies common predictions sets. less the arrival thus capable predicting correctly even when measured has some error. 2 simpler, so computer code run reduced it likely converge local minima using simplex or other techniques. theoretical compared with experimental results.
