摘要: Gesture recognition is a common method of text input on handheld and other pen-based computing devices. Xstroke full-screen gesture program for the X Window System. The touchscreen typical device divided into two regions, primary region application display interaction, secondary input. Full-screen improves implementation by sharing entire screen both purposes. Applications benefit as more real estate available. Recognition performance due to increased information from larger gestures. Usability increases less time lost switching attention between separate regions. presents several userinterface design challenges. Conventional GUI interaction pointer driven. This makes it difficult systems with single-button devices distinguish character Several solutions this problem are examined. simple feature-based engine at heart has proven capable resolving sets 100 different gestures up 95% accuracy. freely available become predominant system X-based
