摘要: Abstract In Ark in the Park, a conservation project Waitakere ranges near Auckland, New Zealand, anticoagulent brodifacoum has been used as principal means of ongoing rodent pest eradication since 2003. The morepork (Ninox novaeseelandiae) is small species owl at risk secondary poisoning through ingestion poisoned invertebrates and rodents. To begin to examine whether are being affected by continued operation, we conducted call counts December 2006 January 2007. We collected data on calls inside poison‐operation area (Ark Park) compared their rate direction with recorded date‐matched control locations where no was conducted.
