摘要: Few studies have investigated the physiological parameters of endurance horses in Scandinavia. Hence, this two race study has focused on effects racing terms equine clinicopathological blood parameters, heart score, and fluid use. Race A involved 15 (120 km). Two pre- one post-race samples were taken, body condition score was assessed triplicate pre-race, an ECG used to determine score. B 16 (65–120 km). One taken. For both races, horse data as well intake estimates cooling water noted. showed that haematocrit, albumin, sodium, triglycerides increased significantly with racing, whilst chloride, glucose, iron, potassium decreased significantly. In B, creatinine, cholesterol, inorganic phosphate continued increase during first sampling period compared pre-race levels, which race, over periods. It is concluded no correlation between speed observed, a significant exists experience changes average speed.
