摘要: An image-intensifier system triggered by amplified pulses from a 5-in. photomultiplier was used in an attempt to photograph Cherenkov light cosmic showers. Ten of 32 photographs made showed bright spots 2-5 deg diameter. The centers the could be determined accuracy approaching 0.1 but true direction shower not conclusively. It concluded that technique has possibilities, and improved equipment is being developed. (A.G.W.)
