摘要: This article addresses the use of Holland’s Genetic Algorithms (GAs) (Holland in Adaptation natural and artificial systems, University Michigan Press, Ann Arbor, MI, 1975) solving an optimization problem not exploited yet by literature, which we have named Optimal Billing Sequencing (OBS). The objective GA proposed is to automate pick sequencing, process allocating stock available for sale purchase orders a portfolio, so that maximization billing optimal result OBS. A modelling computational simulation methodology has been employed. Such designed enable meet boundary conditions established predefined decision restrictions parameters. We reached conclusion, means experimental tests, developed satisfactorily solves studied. In addition low overhead, reduces operating costs speeds picking decision-making processes processes.
