摘要: Abstract Epidermoid tumours (ETs) are uncommon benign lesions that may grow by spreading in the subarachnoid space of basal cisterns and expanding to conform shape specific sulci fissures. A temporobasal location is very rare, there have been no reports regarding single sulcus involvement ETs. We describe case an ET located on surface temporal lobe, predominantly within collateral sulcus, which separates parahippocampal gyrus medially from fusiform laterally. report a 25-year-old woman with complex visual hallucinations. MRI brain revealed right mass lesion, hypointense T1-weighted hyperintense T2-weighted images, minimal contrast enhancement, lobe. Right-sided anterior lobectomy, along microsurgical removal were performed consequent resection mesial structures (the region hippocampus, gyrus, amygdala). It important consider ETs when treating since inferior more specifically be convenient for localize. Total surgical should goal these cases; however, approach tailored include lobe seizure predominant presenting symptom.
