摘要: It is possible that brucellosis may be related to increase free radical production and antioxidant depletion. Thus, in the present study we aimed evaluate oxidative status patient with healthy controls. Methods: This includes patients diagnosed by clinical findings positive agglutination titer. The paraoxonase, ceruloplasmin, total capacity oxidant values were measured from samples taken. stress index value was calculated through values. Results: A number of 93 people, 40 women (43%) 53 men (57%) included study. levels ceruloplasmin found higher when compared control group (p < 0.001). level significantly lower paraoxonase-1 not different groups = 0.077). Conclusions: Brucellosis an infection frequently seen Mediterranean countries. breaks balance. In this disease, oxidant-antioxidant system indicators such as capacity, can used for showing role brucella monitoring treatment results.
