摘要: Abstract The recent development of less invasive intracardiac surgery using small incisions and videoscopic techniques allowed an evaluation the advantages limitations this new approach. Among was increased difficulty surgical technique when long instruments through ports. We investigated whether computer assisted might bring a solution to problem. existing systems, we selected Intuitive System because two original features. It provides stable, magnified, three dimensional view operating field at console where surgeon is seated operate, it uses having same dexterity range motion as hand. After 10 months active work adapt system surgery, first open heart operation carried out on 52-year-old woman presenting aneurysm large defect atrial septum. patient extubated 8 h after operation, returned her room 16 later discharged from hospital d postoperatively with normal function no residual shunt. This preliminary experience showed that cardiac feasible may promising directions in surgery.
