摘要: Abstract Purpose: Detection of a precancerous or cancerous lesion when small is one the most important factors to improve 5-year survival rates oral cancer. Although surgical biopsy Gold Standard for diagnosing lesions, it impractical routinely subject large numbers patients biopsy. This study had been undertaken evaluate quantitatively cellular changes in exfoliated cells from different premalignant and malignant lesions terms cell diameter (CD), nuclear (ND) nucleocytoplasmic ratio micronucleus frequency. Patients Methods: Oral mucosal smears were obtained presenting with precancer cancer using cytobrush immediately before The group consisted Group I: no dysplasia, It: mild moderate Ul: severe dysplasia carcinoma situ , IV: invasive carcinoma.
