摘要: In this contribution we address the problem of reconstructing particulate media from limited morphological information that may be readily extracted 2D images their microstructure. Sixty-five backscatter SEM microstructure a lightly consolidated pack glass spheres are analyzed to determine descriptors, such as pore-pore autocorrelation function and pore solid phase chord distributions. This is then used constrain stochastic reconstruction sphere packing in two dimensions using simulated annealing method. The results obtained demonstrate solid-phase distribution contains additional critical for morphology exhibiting short-range order. We further confirm finding by successfully irregular silica particles.
