摘要: A method of assessing the feeding performance wild diving birds is presented that relies on use field data behaviour and environmental conditions, additional information underwater obtained from captive experiments. Two components are considered - efficiency (measured as ratio time spent over dive cycle time) rate food consumption. These two can be used to assess habitats differ both in water depth concentration. At present, however, there limited available consumption rates natural foods different substrates benthos. This could trails.
