摘要: Carbonyl oxides, also known as Criegee intermediates, are key intermediates in both gas phase ozonolysis of unsaturated hydrocarbons the troposphere and solution organic synthesis via ozonolysis. Although study arenas has a long history, direct studies have only recently become possible through new methods generating stabilised sufficient quantities. This advance catalysed large number experimental theoretical investigations intermediate chemistry. In this article we review physical chemistry focusing on their molecular structure, spectroscopy, unimolecular bimolecular reactions. These recent results overturned conclusions from some previous studies, while confirming others, clarified areas investigation that will be critical targets for future studies. addition to expanding our fundamental understanding r...
