摘要: Prostate cancer is the second most diagnosed in world, and alternative methods to prevent treat different lesion grades need be evaluated. The objective was evaluate morphological, hormonal, inflammatory responses prostate anterior lobe transgenic adenocarcinoma of mouse (TRAMP), following Celecoxib Goniothalamin (GTN) treatments. All animals were treated for 4 weeks, from 8 weeks age euthanized either immediately after treatment (12-week-old mice: immediate response) or later (22-week-old late response). results showed a significant increase high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (HGPIN) well-differentiated (WDA), according control groups. decreased WDA incidence response group. GTN led healthy tissue increase, an LGPIN HGPIN decrease In group, area there no occurrence WDA. AR ERα immunoexpressions reduced by both treatments However, only able level Regarding COX-2 immunoreactivity, frequency this enzyme. We can conclude that good model study cancer, considering its slow progression. Both delay lobe. pointed towards better spectrum signaling pathways microenvironment, particularly ERα.
