摘要: Introduction: It has been suggested that single-file reciprocating systems, such as WaveOne, are capable of more rapid root canal instrumentation compared to systems utilize multi-file continuous rotation. The purpose this study was evaluate the efficiency and safety WaveOne ProTaper Next in vivo a randomized clinical trial. null hypothesis no differences would be seen preparation time, working length control, or occurrence adverse events. Materials Methods: A total 89 teeth requiring primary non-surgical endodontic treatment were included study. Root therapy performed per routine procedures. Following glide path creation, into groups according system used: Next. Time required for cleaning shaping recorded. Discrepancies between final initial master cone any events also Differences tooth types evaluated with regression models least squares mean analyses. Results: No overall difference found average time complete instrumentation. significantly less instrument premolar single significant could detected regard control. occurred sample either group. Conclusions: perform similar most types. can used safely predictably canals setting.
