摘要: A 66-year-old female patient underwent left upper lobectomy and dissection of the mediastinal lymph nodes. The pathological diagnosis was well-differentiated papillary adenocarcinoma lung with metastasis to nodes, p-T2N2MO, stage IIIA. After operation, she treated by chemotherapy including lipophilic anticancer compounds (carboplatin VP- 16). unexpectedly showed long survival for 6 years 2 months without obvious recurrence or cancer. were not effective on recurrent lesions then died due respiratory failure 8 after recurrence. autopsy revealed pleural dissemination intrapulmonary metastasis. Immunohistochemical analysis increased multidrug resistance-associated protein (MRP)-positive tumor cells in metastatic lesions, while few MRP-positive apparent primary lesion. accompanied p53 nuclear accumulation carcinoma. This a case pulmonary acquired resistance caused MRP overexpression aberrant chemotherapy.
