摘要: AbstractRock varnish samples were collected near three point sources of air pollution to determine if the contained a record recent pollution. Samples as follows: downwind Nevada Test Site (NTS); in fallout pattern shuttered Mohave Power Plant, located Laughlin, Nevada; and, operating Reid-Gardner just east Las Vegas, Nevada. Analysis NTS rock shows 240Pu/239Pu mass ratios low 0.0592 ± 0.0003 and 241Pu/239Pu 0.00063 0.00004, compared worldwide values 0.18 0.01 0.009 0.002, respectively, clearly indicating that can be used forensic tool for identifying source pollution, this case NTS.
