摘要: Electric motor industries widely use cold-rolled non-oriented (CRNO) electrical steel sheets (ESSs) as the magnetic core. The are of low carbon–silicon, thin (0.5 mm), and laminated joined a stack with gas tungsten arc (GTA) welding. A weld zone is affected by welding heat dependent on current (30–110 A). fusion (FZ) heat-affected (HAZ) analyzed for variation in base metal (BM) microstructural properties using scanning electron microscope (SEM) optical (OM). effects depth, width, stress–strain relationship, filler material, grain size investigated change. Tensile micro-hardness testing FZ HAZ revealed change failure zones, maximum fracture load, micro-hardness. effect completely ferritic phases (α-phase γ-phase) also studied. All variations compared correlated to input thin–laminated, non-grain-oriented ESS.
