摘要: The distribution of glutamate receptor subtypes on the surface neurons is highly relevant for synaptic activation and signal processing in neocortex. As a novel approach we have used infra-red videomicroscopy combination with photostimulation or microiontophoresis brain slices rat neocortex to map N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) alpha-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid (AMPA) receptors pyramidal layer V. Both modes application revealed spatially distinct subtypes: soma proximal dendrite are sensitive NMDA, whereas more distal parts AMPA. An implication that NMDA near might regulate amplification signals resulting from AMPA remote dendritic sites.
