摘要: Mycoplasmas are cell wall-less prokaryotic organisms. Placed in the class Mollicutes (soft skinned), mycoplasmas represent a diverse collection of microbes (Tully and Razin, 1977). These organisms unique that they each surrounded solely by single biological membrane. A complete taxonomie scheme exists for (Ghosh Raychaudhuri, 1972). The plant pathogenic primarily belong to taxonomic family, Spiroplasmataceae (commonly called spiroplasmas) (Maramorosch, 1980). Members family Mycoplasmataceae generally known being etiologic agents animal disease (e.g. Mycoplasma pneumoniae causes primary atypical pneumonia man). Acholeplasmataceae considered saprophyted Acholeplasma laidlawii). However, as shall be noted later, all 3 families may have members capable causing disease.
