摘要: Myo-inositol and phosphatidylinositol(s) play a pivotal function in many metabolic pathways that, if impaired, impact unfavorably on human health. This review analyzes several experimental clinical investigations regarding the involvement of this class molecules physiological pathological situations, with major focus thyroid. Central issues are relationship between phosphatidylinositol thyrotropin (TSH) signaling one hand, phosphatydylinositol autoimmunity other hand. Other consequences malfunction some receptors, such as those ones for TSH (TSHR), insulin (IR) insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1R), or connection serum concentrations resistance. Also covered resistance, syndrome their allied disorders (diabetes, polycystic ovary [PCOS]), certain malignancies, reciprocal links. Myoinositol has promising therapeutic potential. Appreciation inositol involved disorders, mentioned review, may stimulate researchers to envisage additional applications.
