Positive correlates were younger age, shorter disease duration, BMI >30 kg/m2. Secondary are also improved. same effects seldom realized through conservative methods. Results/Implications Practice: All obese should referred intensive intervention, minimum goal 10% loss. Under certain circumstances, referral considered, particularly >40 kg/m2, or ≥35 kg/m2 at least one obesity related co-morbidity. Others considered on a case-by-case basis.
