摘要: A method for selectively bonding layers of polymeric material, especially expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), to create endoluminal vascular devices. In a preferred the selective is achieved by applying pressure selected areas using textured mandrel. This permits stent device be encapsulated between two ePTFE with unbonded slip pockets accommodate movement structural members stent. allows compression minimal force and promotes low profile compressed device. Unbonded regions allow enhanced cellular penetration rapid healing can also contain bioactive substance that will diffuse through treat vessel wall.
