摘要: In the past 20 years, several systems have been developed to control transgene expression in plants using chemicals. The components used construct these are derived from regulatory sequences mostly non-plant organisms such as bacteria, fungi, insects and mammals. These constructs allowed be controlled temporally, spatially quantitatively with help of exogenous chemicals, without disturbing endogenous plant gene expression. Various chemically regulated systems, their advantages/disadvantages potential for large-scale field application reviewed.
