摘要: Neuraxial patterning is a continuous process that extends over protracted period of development. During gastrulation crude anteroposterior pattern, detectable by molecular markers, conferred on the neuroectoderm signals from endomesoderm are largely inseparable those neural induction itself. This coarse-grained pattern subsequently reinforced and refined diverse, locally acting mechanisms. Segmentation long-range signaling organizing centers prominent among emerging principles governing regional pattern.
