摘要: We develop a geometric construction to prove the inevitability of electronic ground-state (adiabatic) Berry phase for class Jahn–Teller (JT) models with maximal continuous symmetries and N > 2 intersecting states. Given that vibronic degeneracy in JT may be seen as consequence any problem obtained from subset we investigate this Letter by symmetry-breaking, our arguments reveal fundamental origin models.
