摘要: Abstract This paper studies the mass transfer performance of structured packings in absorption CO 2 from air with aqueous NaOH solution. The Eight tested are sheet metal ones corrugations different geometry parameters. Effective area and overall gas phase coefficient have been measured an column 200 mm diameter under conditions F -factor 0.38–1.52 Pa 0.5 solution concentration 0.10–0.15 kmol·m − 3 . effects gas/liquid flow rates packing parameters also investigated. results show that effective changes not only liquid load, but -factor. A new correlation on load was proposed, which is found to fit experiment data very well.
