摘要: Thermal analysis that is DSC ‘heat-flux’ type was studied as additional or supportive technique to the analytical commonly used such chromatographic, spectroscopic and combination of chromatographic-spectroscopic. Two medicinal plants Zingiberaceae, Zingiber officinale Roscoe (ginger) zerumbet Smith (wild ginger) were investigated. The dried rhizomes ginger extracted using solvent extraction techniques produce crude product (oleoresin) while fresh wild hydrodistillation essential oil. major compounds separated purified by means several chromatographic including vacuum column chromatography, gravity chromatography preparative thin layer chromatography. structures elucidated methods 1 H NMR, 13C IR, GC GC-MS. pure isolated from Z. oleoresin identified 6-gingerol (brownish viscous liquid) 6-shogaol (yellowish liquid), zerumbone (white crystals) well analysed technique. This method can be identify compound in based on qualitative investigation thermal behaviour (melting point, Tm heat fusion, ?Hf ). also estimate purity a substance shape temperature melting endotherm. Sharp peak indicated broad showed mixture various compounds.
