摘要: ABSTRACT: Soil movement by tillage is a function of slope gradient. Tillage direction performed upslope and downslope in opposing directions over alternate years results net soil. The objective this study was to develop simulation model describe soil redistribution along billslope transect that can be used explain observed erosion deposition patterns cultivated fields result from action. A diffusion-based conceptual represent tillage, whereby the regression coefficient for relationship between translocation gradient described diffusion coefficient, k′. calculated 50-yr period on measured topographic west central Minnesota using published k′ values moldboard plow. Additional simulations included additive effects secondary (tandem disc) an examination hillsope segment lengths rates. Results showed 14.7% area would experience loss or gain exceed 10 t ha−1 yr −1 with plow value 2.34 kg m−1 width. increased 26% 3.30 m−1. addition (two tandem disc operations) excessive 59%. Erosion Prediction (TEP) has capability identify areas based landscape configuration (erosion) (deposition) due tillage.
