摘要: The 13C spin‐lattice relaxation times of both the ring and methyl carbons in liquid crystal, p‐azoxydianisole, are reported as a function temperature on sides clearing point. In marked contrast to earlier results proton relaxation, were found exhibit no noticeable discontinuity at nematic‐isotropic transition temperature. explained by comparing mechanisms influencing carbon‐13 T1's those present for relaxation.
