摘要: Targeted inactivation of genes in the tumor necrosis factor (TNF)/lymphotoxin (LT) ligand and receptor system has recently revealed essential roles for these molecules lymphoid tissue development organization. Lymphotoxin-αβ (LTαβ)/lymphotoxin-β (LTβ-R) signaling is critical organogenesis lymph nodes Peyer’s patches structural compartmentalization splenic white pulp into distinct B T cell areas marginal zones. Moreover, an role been demonstrated TNF/p55 (p55TNF-R) formation lymphocyte follicles, follicular dendritic networks, germinal centers. In contrast to a previously described p55TNF-R patch organogenesis, we show this report that are present both TNF knockout mice, demonstrating not organ. Furthermore, absence TNF/p55TNF-R signaling, lymphocytes segregate normally normal content localization cells observed patches. However, although found home within outer cortex area nodes, organized structures networks fail form. These results LTαβ through but rather interactions determine cellular organization follicles all secondary tissues.
