摘要: Many butterflies and moths are of conservation concern formally recognised as being at risk. There nearly 400 species Lepidoptera used human food or medicine, the demand for some has increased to extent that they overexploited. Most harvested in wild, there is a need develop harvesting habitat management protocols ensure sustainability. Detailed scientific information on most lacking. Management plans conserve selected necessary, traditional knowledge an important valuable foundation. Some better known could be excellent flagship taxa because can symbol security, culture, insect biodiversity, their habitats.
