摘要: Objectives: Proper diagnosis and prevention of malocclusion are superior to treatment. Discrepancy between arch length tooth size in mixed dentition period is a condition requiring timely diagnosis. Estimating the mesiodistal width unerupted teeth according erupted ones can lead earlier malocclusion. On other hand, best timing for serial extractions before eruption lateral incisors. The aim this study was present prediction formulas incisors, canines premolars an Iranian population based on permanent mandibular central incisors maxillary first molars. Materials Methods: A total 120 dental models (60 males, 60 females) orthodontic patients 11-25 years were evaluated Yazd city. measurements made by digital caliper widest at interproximal contacts. Data analyzed calculate equation . Results: upper jaw y=0.57x+10.82 y=0.7x+6.37 females y=0.64x+8.46 both sexes. lower y=0.76x+2.86 y=0.74x+3.53 y=0.77x+2.7 Conclusions: equations suggested predict early without taking radiographs.
